" LUX Magazine Sets the Hamptons Ablaze!" In an unforgettable soirée, LUX Lifestyle Magazine set the Hamptons ablaze with its second annual LUX HOT LIST party, held amidst the lush gardens of none other than the hottest bed and breakfast in the Hamptons: The Baker House 1650. The event was a visual delight, as captured by the talented lens of Sara Stone and Mixmediaplus. The crème de la crème of Hot List award winners and esteemed guests came together under the starry Hamptons sky to celebrate the release of the latest issue, graced by the dazzling Bethenny Frankel on the cover. Haute Hamptonites mingled with visitors from distant shores, strolling through the enchanting gardens while toasting with the finest sparkling wines courtesy of Single Married Divorced. The music duo MOJO played under the tree canopy. But the evening's pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the bespoke signature cocktails concocted by none other than Curamia Tequila, Elysabeth Vineyards, Montauk Distiller, and Via Carota. The latest energy sensation, Gorgie, made its debut and left everyone buzzing with excitement. Feeding the eager crowd was none other than New York's culinary virtuoso, Janet O'Brien, who served mouthwatering bites that left guests yearning for more. Food enthusiasts found their haven at the bountiful Fresh Direct stand, where they eagerly gathered bags brimming with the freshest seasonal vegetables. Fashionistas were in for a treat as designer Kimberly Pucci, hailing from Newport, RI, unveiled her latest collection before hitting the runway at NYFW. The event also featured a bloom bar that was nothing short of spectacular, as guests were gifted exquisite Island florals to grace their homes. The showpiece of the evening was the coveted gifting table, where guests had the privilege of filling their beach totes with luxury products from this year's illustrious winners, including Rebesana, HECH, Columbia Skincare, Aisi Apparel Co., AX3, Beautifect, and a bevy of beauty treasures that left everyone feeling like they had just stepped into a world of opulence and indulgence.

T he Hamptons are known for our stunning beaches, fabulous resorts, luxurious estates, and vibrant social scene. Boasting pristine stretches of award winning beaches, the region is a retreat for power players, celebrities, and influential individuals. From June to August, over a quarter of a million people descend on a stretch of land less than 50 miles long and ending in Montauk, which is aptly called "The End". Between $200M homes for sale and $500,000 summer homes to rent, the Hamptons is one of the most exclusive destinations in the country. So can you find a Hamptons home to call yours for a special moment in your life? LUX magazine introduces you to the Hottest Hamptons Private Event Venue: MAISON 371. Tucked into a private cul de sac between East Hampton and Sag Harbor, this luxury estate can be yours for a wedding destination, corporate event location, commercial shoot, or fabulous family vacation. With a heated pool, sunken tennis court and idyllic atmosphere, MAISON 371’s expansive gardens and manicured lawns offer a variety of onsite activities. Relax by the fire pits, outdoor bar, or float in the pool while embracing French country elegance with the most modern amenities. The creative brain (and hands) behind the stunning home is Norman Spier, who shares that he drew his inspiration straight from the country side of France. Spier recalls living with a French family as a young boy in a small town only a few hours outside of Paris; ever since then he dreamed of building his own chalet in the Hamptons. "Believe it or not even watching Emily in Paris inspired me", Spier says. "I always imagined having beautiful, unforgettable dinner parties in my gardens, and I knew that MAISON 371 was the property to create my dreamscape." With more plant species than one can count and a hand made babbling brook, MAISON 371 is a true Hamptons oasis that allows you to hide away from the bustling crowd of vacationers. The estate is home to specimen plants, including: Hinoki Cypress, Lavender bushes, Japanese Snowballs, Crepe Myrtle flowers, and of course...plenty of Hydrangeas. Spier reveals a secret that runs amongst the exclusive Hampton's gardening community,"It's said that if you play classical music around your plants, they are supposed to grow almost five times as well." Not only are MAISON 371's gardens impeccably classy but they are sustainable too. Last summer, Spier went to a demolition estate sale of a multi million dollar home where they were also selling every plant and tree on the property. After keenly recognizing some very rare varieties, he commandeered a team to dig them up and replant them at MAISON 371. Every detail on the property has been carefully thought out down to the subtle details such as the Slim Aarons artwork in the outdoor shower. "I had these photos transferred onto a metal canvas so that they could hang in the outdoor shower," says Spier. His attention to detail is notable throughout including the custom made patio furniture, a transportive Zen Garden, and a cedar pergola carved by Spier himself make this luxury estate a MUST see. The beauty carries on within MAISON 371. The home accommodates up to 14 people with five bedrooms and five baths. It boasts 10 flat screen TV’s, WiFi, Sonos speakers throughout the property, a full gym, as well as billiards and pingpong on the lower level. The upper great lawn area is perfect for intimate weddings and corporate events. Where as the front lawn can be utilized as a unique spot for croquet or yoga. Activities don't have to end when the sun goes does, as dramatic night lights sprinkle throughout the property adding to the ambiance. Pop the champagne and cozy up next to one of the two fire pits with your playlist on in the background. Just minutes from East Hampton Township, Sag Harbor and the area’s finest beaches, shopping and dining, MAISON 371 is ideally located. It's gardens and luxurious amenities are waiting for you, your family, or your next unforgettable event. For more information visit MAISON 371. @maison_371

I sland Time Farm, a regenerative flower and tomato farm, is nestled between the two forks of Long Island on Shelter Island. Owners Kelci and Chris share, "We focus on creating healthy soil that grows healthy plants and people! Soon our fields will be bursting with beautiful blooms and mouthwatering tomatoes for summer. The life partners met in 2015 in New Orleans and bonded over a shared love of plants. In New Orleans, Chris had an homestead with a vegetable garden, fruit trees, and a flock of chickens, ducks, and geese. Kelci worked at an urban farm, helped run a greenhouse for a landscaping company, and grew a flower garden. "Wanting to feel a deeper connection with nature and the people around us, we decided to set our roots in Chris's hometown of Shelter Island in 2017," says Kelci. "We grew our first garden together that season. That love of growing bloomed into a dream of farming. That fall, we took over Jay and Marge Card's decades-old farm on Shelter Island. We whacked away all the invasive mugwort and goldenrod by hand. The following spring, Jay Card, Jr. gave the field its final till on his father's old Ford tractor and we began sowing vegetables and flowers. We reopened the farm stand on the property and joined the Havens Farmers Market on Shelter Island. Chris also took on the role of Market Manager." Kelci adds, "In 2019, we started Shelter Island's first Flower CSA, offering weekly pick up of our most spectacular flowers! Since then, we have expanded to do custom floral design for home delivery and events, on-farm flower harvesting and design experiences, and we can also bring the flower design experience to you with a custom Bloom Bar." This summer, the Island Time Farm team will be treating LUX guests to a gorgeous flower arranging bloom bar at the home of editor, Kelli Delaney Kot (founder of KDHamptons). Chris adds, "As the farm took off, we began to miss the more intimate experience of gardening. We started Island Time Gardens to bring beauty and abundance to our neighbors on the East End. We create lush gardens full of decadent blooms and delicious vegetables. At Island Time Farm, we believe our practices should improve, rather than sustain, the quality of our soil and the life around the farm. We believe in Regenerative Agriculture. We are a No-Till farm that creates healthy soils through nurturing the biology in soil with lots of compost, mulch, and cover crops. Our farm is about one acre, with half an acre growing crops and a significant portion going to making compost. With over 30 varieties of gorgeous flowers, our farm is an oasis for pollinators and other important creatures." shares Chris. LUX looks forward to watching this wonderful farm continue to grow, and we congratulate them on being awarded the HOTTEST FLOWER FARM of 2023. For more information please visit www.islandtimefarm.com

It was the perfect summer day at Maple Shade, the historic Hamptons home of KDHamptons founder Kelli Delaney Kot and Dr. Mark Kot. Hosted by KDHamptons, the Luxury Lifestyle Diary, LUX Lifestyle Magazine and Bed Side Reading , the exclusive “Books, Bubbly, and Blooms Garden Party” was held on July 2, attracting invited Hamptons influentials, tastemakers, writers, and passionate readers who came to celebrate the holiday weekend. A dynamic group of selected authors signed their hot new summer reads, and guests toasted with Kelli’s favorite cocktails while being served artisanal summer bites. The consummate Hamptons hostess, Kelli is known for always adding a fun party trick to all of her gatherings. Guests swooned over Kelli’s jaw-dropping BLOOM BAR filled with over 1,000 fresh cut floral stems from Island Time Farm of Shelter Island. Farm owners Kelci McIntosh and Chris DiOrio arranged beautiful custom bouquets sweetly wrapped in burlap and sealed with a pink pin for each guest to take home – a flower lovers dream. Weston Table Founder and CEO Dianne O’Connor curated the BLOOM BAR design to look like a French flower market. She included 19th century copper jugs and watering cans, a collection of vintage items, and a European Wicker Basket Garden Wagon filled with an explosion of vibrantly-colored blooms to create a bit of South of France magic in the Hamptons.
